Claudia is the coordinator of the research program Armed violence and development.
Within this program she has worked with projects related to themes such as the impact of armed violence, the prevention and reduction of armed violence, the management and control of fire arms and illegal trafficking of arms and munitions. She has also participated in several national and international seminars on these topics.
Her principal areas of interest are the relation between armed violence and development, the prevention and reduction of violence, peacebuilding, humanitarian action and international cooperation.
