Luis Carlos Sanchez studied Political Science at Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, currently he is finishing his studies in History in the same university and and holds a scholarship for Colciencias' program, Jovenes Investigadores by the Pensar Institute. His main interests for research are the Colombian political violence, its dynamics, stages and types, as well as the contemporary political theory.
