Miguel Barreto Henriques studied International Relations at the Economy Faculty at Universidad de Coimbra, Portugal. Currently he is a PhD Candidate at that same University in International Policy and Conflict Resolution. His research interests include European studies, conflict resolution, native communities’ rights and relations between Europe and America. For his doctoral thesis he is researching the role and approach of the European Union in the resolution of the Colombian conflict.
