James Henderson holds a PhD in Latin American History from the Texas Christian University. He also has an MA in History of the Trans-Mississippi West from the University of Arizona, and a BA in History from the Centenary College of Lousiana. He is currently Professor of International Studies at Coastal Carolina University. Professor Henderson specializes in Latin American history as well as modern Colombian history.
