Brodie Ferguson is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Stanford University and a graduate fellow at Stanford's Center for Conflict and Negotiation. He has also completed a masters in public health at Johns Hopkins University.

Brodie's research has focused on the demography of conflict, human ecology, and environmental services. In Colombia, his work examines the environmental impacts of forced displacement, conflict, and land tenure in the Chocó region.
