Charlotte Boisteau holds a master’s degree (DEA) from the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (IUED) in Geneva, Switzerland; a bachelor’s degree in political science, majoring in international relations from the University Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris, France. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University Paris IV, Panthéon-Sorbonne and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the Complutense University, in Madrid, Spain / University of Nantes, France. Charlotte is currently working on her doctoral dissertation at the Urban Sociology Laboratory at the École Polythecnique Fédérale de Lausanne; on ¨Security Policies and Urban Transformations. Public policies, private strategies and comunitary actions in urban security. The Bogotá and Barcelona cases¨. She worked at the UN-HABITAT office in Geneve; is also the coordinator of the project ¨Urban Violence and Security Policies in Bogotá and Barcelona¨; and has collaborated with CERAC in several projects related to urban security in Colombia. |
